Recipe : 

Fried rice is a great quick meal option which is easy to make and tastes so delicious. It’s all time favorite dish of all. With just a little preparation you can put together this fried rice in a few minutes.

Ingredients

Basmati rice.           1 cup

Chicken boneless  300 gms

Chilly sauce            1 tbsp

Soya sauce              2 tbsp

Sunflower oil          5 tbsp

Garlic                     1 tbsp

Spring onion          3/4 cup

Carrot                    ½ cup

Beans                    ½ cup

Salt                        2 pinch

Pepper                   1 tbsp

Eggs                       2 no

Ginger                    1 tbsp

Cabbage                 ½ cup

Cornflour                 1 tbsp

Sugar                      ½ tbsp

Instructions

  1. Wash the basmati rice and soak it for 20 minutes.
  2. Boil a pot of water. Add salt and soaked basmati rice and cook for 5 minutes until it is cooked.
  3. Strain the rice and spread it on a plate and allow it to cool. This prevents the rice from sticking to each other.
  4. Combine the chicken, soya sauce, pepper and cornflour.
  5. Heat the pan and add 1 tbsp of oil. Add the eggs and  pinch of salt. Scramble it and remove it from the pan.
  6. Add 3 tbsp of oil and add the chicken in a hot pan. Cook it for 3 minutes and remove it from the pan.
  7. In the same pan, add garlic, ginger and spring onions. Saute and then add cabbage, carrot and beans. Add sugar and saute for 1 minute on high heat.
  8. Add pepper, soya sauce and chilli sauce. Mix well
  9. Add the cooked rice, eggs and chicken. Toss until evenly combined. Add 1 tbsp of salt.
  10. Allow it to cook for 2 minutes, tossing occasionally. Add the spring onion, toss and remove from the heat.
